Brit Singer Rod Stewart and model Rachel Hunter have finally divorced following their separation seven years ago.
Documents from Los Angeles Superior Court show the divorce was finalised on 2 November, but disclose no details of any financial settlement.
Hunter, 37 and Stewart, 61, married in 1990 and have two children together. Stewart has seven children in total.
Stewart proposed to model Penny Lancaster, 35, last year. The pair have a one-year-old son.
Stewart’s spokesman had no comment on the divorce or when the pair will wed, although Lancaster’s agent Nicholas Young said last year that Stewart wanted to get married in Scotland, the birthplace of his father.

Referring to the upcoming inquests, which will be overseen by Dame Elizabth Butler-Sloss, the former BBC Court Correspondent (sacked from his job after prematurely revealing details of the Queen’s Christmas speech in the late 1980s) said: “This is the beginning of an Establishment fix. At this secret — proposed secret hearing — important, indeed crucial matters, will be decided: whether there should be a joint inquest for Dodi Al Fayed and Diana, Princess of Wales, or whether they should be separate; whether there should be a jury, and what sort of jury.”

Actress Eva Longoria, who plays a divorcee on the prowl on the hit television drama “Desperate Housewives,” is engaged to marry her basketball star boyfriend Tony Parker, her spokeswoman said on Thursday.
Parker, 24, an all-star point guard for professional basketball’s San Antonio Spurs, flew to Los Angeles after a game on Wednesday and popped the question to Longoria, 31, when she got home from work.
It is believed that the happy couple are planning a big family wedding in Parkers native France.

A group of friends and dedicated U2 fans are teaming up to turn Aloha Stadium (RED) for the band’s Dec. 9 concert.
(RED) is a brand created to raise awareness and money for the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in Africa. Gap, Motorola and Apple are participating in the effort, donating a portion of the sale of its (RED) items to the charity.
Organizers are encouraging concert-goers through blogs to wear anything red that night in support of the campaign created by U2 frontman Bono.
U2 will end its Vertigo tour on O’ahu. Pearl Jam and Rocko and the Devils will open the show, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

Journalists have crossed the line by mocking a letter written by Lindsay Lohan following the death last week of Hollywood director Robert Altman according to her publicist Leslie Sloane.
The letter which contained several spelling mistakes and poor grammer was reported to have been penned while the actress was out on one of her legendry party benders.
“When I got the reports that he had died, I reached Lindsay on her cell phone, and she had no idea. She was devastated. She started crying,” Sloane told reporters. “She quickly put something together on her Blackberry.”
Days after the missive was made public, Los Angeles Times columnist Patt Morrison ridiculed it on a Web site as “alarmingly incoherent,” apparently referring to misspellings and grammatical errors by Lohan, and wrote that Altman himself might find it “comedic.”

Kate opted for a less dazzling black satin skirt suit, completing her sexy look with a red bag.
Poor Jude Law didnt know who to hug first when he arrived so he grabbed both.

Nick Lachey is one third owner of the Tacoma Rainiers. The Rainiers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners playing in the Pacific Coast League. Lachey previously was interested in the ownership of his hometown’s team, The Cincinnati Reds, but the deal didn’t happen.
“Baseball is a true passion of mine, Tacoma is a growing city and I have every intention of playing an active ownership role in the Rainiers as we continue to grow,” said Nick.

Pete Doherty has been voted the most “undeserving icon” of the year in Arena mens magazine.
Over 1,000 readers of the popular lads mag voted the singer, 27, as the personality least worthy of celeb status, most probably due to his highly publicised drug problem.
Meanwhile Doherty has been banned from seeing his child by his former partner Lisa Moorish. Moorish who also has a child with Liam Gallagher previously banned Doherty from access because he was “deep” in drugs.
This ban had been lifted earlier this year after Doherty signed himself into the Priory drug clinic but Doherty is believed to have had some class A “gear” on him when searched by police last week.
It is believed that Doherty has signed himself into another drug clinic but this time he has opted for Portugal in an attempt to stay of out the British media limelight.

Kathy Griffin had a scary incident on a plane Wednesday night. Her official web page released the following statement:
Special Alert…there are multiple media reports of a plane incident concerning Kathy Wed evening. All of us, and Kathy directly, want you to first and foremost know that Kathy and all aboard are safe. The plane did not crash.
Kathy rented a commuter plane that took off at 4:45pm in Burbank, CA. Kathy, Tom and her tour mananager were the only ones on the plane. 20 minutes into the flight they hit extreme turbulence. Things were flying all over in the plane. The pilots smelled smoke and then Kathy did as well. She noticed the pilot had to put on his oxygen mask and then the other masks dropped for the passengers. The plane made an emergency return to Burbank. The two pilots were extremely professional and calm during the events.
There were fire trucks waiting on the runway for her plane to land. Luckily, they landed and were pulled out of the plane quickly and safely. No other plane was available earlier than 9:30 and thus Wed’s show had to be cancelled.
Kathy wants you to personally know that ALL of her shows, including Thursday’s show in Hanford, are STILL ON AS SCHEDULED. She hopes to reschedule the Stockton show. Again, Kathy apologizes for the inconvenience.
