Most of us have heard about the feud between Real Estate Mogul/ Reality Star, Donald Trump, and a certain hostess (who shall be nameless) from “The View”. Now it’s going into its second week.
Things got nastier last week when this person posted on her blog site about Trump’s alleged bankruptcies, his business and his personal woes. She even wrote a poem about him, accusing him of running the Miss USA Organization like a pimp. She stated that she obtained his financial information from an Internet encyclopedia website, Wikipedia. Donald Trump has a right to be mad. This woman was simply out of line.
I think what happened to him is wrong. He owns the Miss USA Organization and sets the rules for the young women who enter this pageant whether we like it or not.
These women know what they getting themselves into. These contestants are 18 to 26. They agree to follow the rules. They allow themselves to be exploited, fight to stay absolutely too thin, be somewhat artificial and stay sober at all times. We may not agree with their philosophy but it is their reality if they want to win.
I believe that this hostess from “The View” had no business interjecting herself into this drama like she was the moral authority. There are some people who do not approve of her lifestyle. We do not hear stories of people condemning her in the news. Intelligent people realize that you have to accept others just they way they are. If you don’t agree with them, leave them alone.
As reported Paris rang in New Years in Sydney for a cool 1 million dollars. But maybe her pay check hasn’t cleared yet as the Sydney Morning Herald reports that on Sunday the heiress skipped out on a $9.80 bill. She reportedly ordered a hamburger, mineral water and a frappe at Sloanes Café in Paddington and walked off without paying.
“She’s got bucketloads of money and she didn’t pay for her drinks,” said a waitress, Jo Pfahl.
“Ms Hilton’s appearance at the cafe was unexpected and there was no deal to provide free drinks, said Pepita Macalister-Knight, whose parents own the cafe. “[At first] we had no idea it was her.”
The Daily Mail reports that supermodel Kate Moss rang in the 2007 by marrying her crack head boyfriend Pete Doherty in Phuket, Thailand
“After seeing in the New Year under a £100,000 fire works display alongside other hotel guests including the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, the 32-year-old supermodel and Doherty, 27, retired to bed shortly before 1am, ahead of their big day…The couple exchanged vows before a select few friends and family members in a forty minute ceremony held at their six star hotel villa overlooking the sea. At 1.30pm Thai time - 6.30am UK time - the Babyshambles singer and Miss Moss exchanged vows in the picturesque private gardens of their five-bed roomed £4,500-per-night villa at the Manipuri hotel.
It was reported that Kate wore a white Galliano shift dress with her hair loose while Doherty wore an all-black linen suit with his now trademark pork pie hat. The garden was covered with jasmine and orchids while white and pale pink lotus flowers decorated the pool.
The Buddhist ceremony would not however be legally binding in the UK. The Sun are reporting that the couple have asked friends to keep January 18 free.
However Kate’s publicist is denying that any such ceremony occurred and that there are no further marriage plans.
A New Year but still the same Britney. Spear’s was booked to ring in 2007 in style at Pure in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas and for most of the night appeared to be enjoying the festivities. She danced to I’m A Slave For You for the crowd and did the New Year countdown, proclaiming
“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”
Unfortunately for Brit that wasn’t exactly the case nor is it where the story ends. Robin Leach was the first to report that at 12:50,not even 1 hour into 2007 the pop star feinted.
“She had been seated on a VIP tented-cabana bed overlooking the dance floor at 12:50AM talking with one of her male dancers. She intimated she wanted to leave and as she stood up, “she went into a dead faint and just fell right to the floor.”
Her personal security demanded “to get her out as quickly as possible”, as Britney lay surrounded by her security team in an attempt to prevent Pure partygoer’s from seeing her. One of Britney’s entourage also yelled out, “Make sure nobody gets any photos. No photos anywhere.”
Leach also reports,
“When the 12-strong security phalanx was in place, two of her dancers wrapped Britney in what appeared to be a blanket-hooded poncho. Literally carrying her in both arms, they managed to propel her through the crowds and out of the club”
So what was the cause of all of this? Spears’ reps have already put out at statement. Her recently re-employed manager Larry Rudolph told the Las Vegas Review Journal,
“She’s fine. She had been travelling all day. She got real tired. It was a late night for her. [She] wasn’t drinking that much”
I’m sure that’s the case but it’s worth noting as Perez Hilton points out that this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that Spears had to be helped out of a nightclub. As posted previously Britney was carried out of Les Deux nightclub on December 22nd after vomiting. Hopefully 3rd time won’t be a charm and Britney will get her act together sooner than later.
After Britney Spears was reported missing in Los Angeles by the tabloids, she has seemingly resurfaced once more. This time she was spotted in Scottsdale, AZ with twenty-three year old, Cardinal’s quarterback, Matt Leinart. According to Channel 3 TV (KVTK, Phoenix, AZ), the two has been dating several times and was caught dancing together at a popular Scottsdale nightclub.
Matt Leinart won the 2004’s Heisman Trophy as a quarterback during his USC (University of Southern California) days. He has been romantically linked with Paris Hilton, and Jessica Simpson’s former personal assistant, Cacee Cobb. He was also rumored to date MTV’s Laguna Beach’s star, Kristin Cavallari
He recently had a child with girlfriend, former USC basketball star, Brynn Cameron, in October 2006.
Since 2005, Britney frequently visits Scottsdale, AZ with her family.

As reported previously Lindsay Lohan has been partying with music producer Scott Storch, who let her drive his million dollar Buggati. Looks like Storch has a soft spot for Lindsay as reportedly he surprised her with a very nice gift for New Years. The New York Post reports that he gave Lindsay $1 million worth of diamond jewellery. A source at the Mansion club in Miami said she was wearing, “the sickest diamond necklace and ear rings…and a three-stone diamond ring”.
Another source is quotes as saying that Storch who has allegedly earned more than $70 million from producing hits “has a total crush on her”.
It looks like he should join the queue. When Lohan deejayed at the Sykbar in Miami two of her conquests, The 70’s Shows’ Wilmer Valderrama and actor Jared Leto were there and apparently “couldn’t keep their eyes off her”.
It appears that John Mayer and Jessica Simpson are back together and proud of it. The two spent New Year’s eve having a very public make-out session at Christina Aguilera’s party at the Hudson Hotel in NYC. The New York Daily News reports, “He was scratching her back, they were kissing, it wasn’t subtle,”
While the Post reports
“Inside the club, it was like “a love competition” to see who could make out the longest: It was Jessica and John vs. Christina and Jordan. Both couples were fully locking lips and spooning into the early morning.”
Apparently the couple have been together for the last few weeks and are also proud of the fact that they‘ve deceived the media. A source said,
“John has been thrilled that they have been tricking the media, but she doesn’t really care. His Christmas present to her was a framed copy of the Us Weekly cover that says ‘Dumped: John ditches Jessica”
Hopefully the happy couple won’t have to deal with any similar magazine covers in 2007
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock were both in Vegas to ring in 2007, though at separate parties obviously seeing as there divorcing. However Kid Rock must still be harbouring some feelings for the ex-Baywatch babe. When he heard that Pammys’ ex, rocker Tommy Lee was in town and that the two were rumoured to be hooking up, he didn’t take it all that well. Apparently he tried to hunt down Tommy Lee, so Kid Rock headed over to the Hard Rock Hotel. According to Page 6 sources, he got there:
“at 6 a.m. with two bodyguards, and began kicking down what he thought was Tommy’s door. Only it wasn’t - and Kid found himself staring at some poor, startled family. He signed an autograph for them as security arrived, then bolted over to the Paradise strip club.”
Turns out according to Tommy Lee’s reps that Tommy was staying at the hotel, but on a different floor.
Kid Rock’s friends are claiming that Tommy had been calling him and bragging about him and Pamela.
Either way it looked like Pam was enjoying herself without the company of either man when she hosted TAO’s New Year’s Eve party
Rumours are swirling that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are over for good. Star Magazine report:
“Sources say the glamorous duo, who have gone on many vacations together in the past, went their separate ways after Justin decided that his days with Cam were numbered. And on Dec. 23, as he partied with friends in Senses nightclub in Memphis, a source says Justin told fellow revelers: “Me and Cameron? We’re done”
The usually on the ball Perez Hilton is also confirming the story, claiming that he has confirmed the split from several sources close to the former couple. Apparetly the split happened in either early or mid Decembers and it was Justin who dumped the lovely Cameron.

As VIPglamour reported earlier this week, Paris walked out of a Sydney Café without paying her $10 bill, even after being paid $1 million for hosting a New Years party. Well it could be that one of Paris’s resolution is to take better care of her finances in 2007 or more likely is the fact that the heiress has been fired from another lucrative job. Paris returned back to LA and learned that Fred Khalilian had fired her as the face of Club Paris (a chain of clubs in America and Paris). Paris hadn’t showed up for several scheduled appearances. However from the start Paris hasn’t been too reliable she was 6 hours late to the official grand opening.
Khalilian said of Paris,
“She’s created a circus for herself…It’s all about: How has she screwed up now?”
He won’t be changing the name of the club however instead ‘Paris’ will represent the city and now the Simple Life star.
Paris’ rep, Elliot Mintz told the Associated Press that Khalilian hasn’t been in contact with his client:
“I’m certainly disappointed to learn of Fred’s unfortunate comments…We shall address his statement at the appropriate time”.
