E columnist Ted Casablanca revives speculation about Suri Holmes-Cruise today. He reports that TomKat had dinner at Cut last week,

“According to a nearby, terribly observant, good-looking type, the veddy famous newlyweds appeared to be celebrating Suri’s one-year anniversary. ‘Cause they sure were giving her some awfully nice gifties! B-day time already?

Ted claims this wouldn’t fit with the time line that Suri was born on April 18 (though the birth cert wasn’t produced til 20 days late). However it would give credence to the rumour that Chirs Klein is really the dad as it would place Suri’s real b-day 4 months earlier…

It has only been two months since Katie Holmes became Mrs Tom Cruise, however In Touch Magazine are reporting that all may not be happy in their Scientology paradise. Tom’s overly controlling nature is rumoured to be the source of friction. He allegedly puts a limit on how much time Katie (whom he refers to as Kate) can spend on the phone and is encouraging her to give up her own hobbies for shopping and attending his kids sporting events.

Apparently this type of behaviour isn’t something new within the relationship. At TomKat’s LA wedding reception, Katie got chatting to fellow young actors Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. They trio were making plans to go to Hyde nightclub (a hotspot for young Hollywood) but Cruise put Katie in her place. He told her that,

“it was not the place for him or her to go”.

In Touch’s sources said Katie, “looked really embarrassed…It was like she’d just gotten into trouble”.

We already knew Scientology is the most important thing in Cruise’s life. Now he and his bride have bought a £2.5 million house in West Sussex, the county where Scientology is based in the UK.

The private estate has a six-bedroom house, an indoor swimming pool, games room, sports pavilion, underground garage and a green house. There is also a cottage for staff. The couple already owns houses in Beverly Hills and Colorado.

American actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have started their honeymoon after a lavish wedding in Italy.
The couple exchanged wedding vows in a floodlit Odescalchi castle, near Rome, attended by a Scientology minister and a host of show business stars.

Fans and press had to brave cloudbursts and then fog to catch even the most fleeting glimpse of the celebrities.

The couple flew out of Rome on Sunday for a honeymoon in the Maldives, said Ciampino airport spokesman.

The centre of the small town of Bracciano was sealed off from Friday night and extra police were brought in.

As darkness fell, oil-fed torches glowed from the battlements of the 15th Century castle, which rises above the town on the shores of Lake Bracciano.

Cruise’s publicist, Arnold Robinson, told the Associated Press news agency that the ceremony was performed in front of more than 150 relatives and friends.

The guest list included fellow Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Jim Carrey, and Richard Gere.

Holmes wore a Giorgio Armani dress, with an ivory train adorned with lace and crystal embroidery, while Cruise wore an Armani tuxedo, reports said.

After the ceremony, the couple were serenaded by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli.

Holmes and their seven-month-old daughter, Suri, arrived at the castle earlier in the day, followed by Cruise.

Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, got engaged in June 2005, two months after they were first photographed together in Rome.

Cruise, who has starred in Mission Impossible and War of The Worlds, said he proposed to Holmes on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

It is Cruise’s third wedding. He was previously married to actresses Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman.

He adopted children with Kidman before they divorced in 2001.

THE MARRIAGE IS DOOMED, SAYS PSYCHIC

With the wedding of Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes only a few hours away on Saturday, a top celebrity psychic Kenny Kingston warned that the marriage is doomed.

Kingston who counts actress Marilyn Monroe among his spirit world guides, claims the couple have picked a very lucky date for their Italian nuptials - but that won’t help them stay together. He insists that the spirit world is displeased about the union, and the actress could already be pregnant with the couple’s second child together.

“Like many mortals, the spirits think this marriage is unusual and it’s doomed from the start. The spirits tell me that, if it all goes ahead, it will be a very short-lived marriage. They are very displeased with this whole union and they don’t like the fact the couple’s child was born out of wedlock.

“They’re all for lovechildren because the spirit world plans them, but this is not a lovechild,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Guests for the star-studded wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes began arriving at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle on Saturday as dozens of police and civil defense officials patrolled Bracciano’s medieval streets.

Hundreds of the town’s residents and fans of the actors crowded the small square outside the castle, hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom or one of their guests.

“I want to see at least one of them — even if it’s not Tom Cruise,” said 15-year-old Erica Bandiera.

“I want to see Beckham’s wife,” said her friend Luca Costanzi, 15, with a huge grin. English soccer star David Beckham and his pop-star wife, Victoria, were expected to be attending the wedding.

Other guests were expected to include “Mission Impossible III” director JJ Abrams, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Lopez and Lopez’s husband, singer Marc Anthony, and Will Smith.

Security was tight, with Carbinieri paramilitary police patrolling the walls of the castle and all vehicles banned from the center of Bracciano.

The historic town’s narrow streets teemed with journalists and camera crews, while the Odescalchi family flag fluttered over the castle’s towers.

“This is an honor for us,” said Marianna Riso, 31, who came to Bracciano from the nearby town of Anguillara in hopes of getting a glimpse of one of the celebrities. “(Cruise and Holmes) really are known all over the world and they chose Bracciano. It’s an honor.”

Locals found their own ways to welcome the bride and groom.

At the Il Ristorantino dining spot, Palazzini offered a “Top Gun” menu that included fettuccine with seafood called “Mission Impossible” and apple pie with cream and hot chocolate named after Suri, the couple’s daughter. At the nearby Trattoria del Castello, guests could order a “Tom e Kat” — a basket of parmesan cheese with truffles and mushrooms.

“Wishing you love and happiness,” read one sign written in English and taped to the window of a coffee shop.

“Congratulations Tom and Katie,” said a sticker on the window of a clothing store, whose two other windows displayed a wedding dress with a photograph of the couple, and a “Top Gun” theme with aviation outfits and jackets, and a poster of Cruise as Maverick, the pilot he played in the movie.

On Friday evening, Cruise and Holmes attended a reception at a villa on a hill overlooking the Italian capital, and were still inside Rome’s luxury Hassler hotel on Saturday morning.

Bracciano Mayor Patrizia Riccioni said the celebrity couple would wed in a Scientology ceremony at the castle, 43 kilometers (27 miles) north of Rome.

Scientology ceremonies contain many elements of traditional weddings, including rings and vows. But they also include certain Scientology fundamentals, including vowing never to go to bed without communicating about any differences.

Scientology rites are not legally recognized in Italy, and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union.

Riccioni’s office had not received a request to celebrate a civil wedding as of early Saturday.

Tom Cruise’s fiancée Katie Holmes is all set to please her hubby-to-be with her sexy set of lingerie, for she recently went on a shopping spree for sensual underwear.

According to the Scoop, Katie spent over $3,000 on a recent visit to Le Bra Lingerie, a store in West Hollywood.

“They weren’t all white - and they certainly weren’t virginal. But she’s a mom, so I guess that’s appropriate,” a shopper was quoted by the bosh.com as saying.

The gossip column reports that a good third of the money that Katie spent went towards a “Chantilly lace bridal collection,” which included a $340 thong, a $440 bra, a $220 garter belt and $95 stockings.

In addition, Holmes picked up a silk nightgown and robe set that cost $620, a $380 bra and $175 thong each with Swarovski crystals - and two PJ and robe sets for $425.

Celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes arrived in Rome on Monday with their child Suri, where they will be staying in a penthouse until Saturday when they will be married. The celebrity invite list for the wedding seems to have a theme, a Scientologist theme that is. With guests such as Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, and Kelly Preston.

However, there is one woman who wont be there, and that’s Oprah. Then again she’s not a scientologist is she? "It’s that they had a limited number of people that they could invite. I was not one the invitees. That’s fine. I don’t get invited to everyone’s wedding. I don’t invite them to everything I do. But I wish them the best" Oprah told People Magazine
