Lindsay Lohan may or may not be currently in rehab due to James Franco turning her advances down but either way he’s not going to be there for. Access Hollywood got hold of the actor who is currently in Utah promoting his new film An American Crime. James did confirm that they are friends and “hope[s] she gets better” but answered an emphatic “no” when asked if there was, “any chance you may go visit her help her out that way”.
What caused Lindsay to enter rehab is the hot topic in Hollywood today and Ben Widdicombe’s column provides some interesting insights. He claims that the final straw for Lindsay came when Spiderman Star James Franco rebuffed Lindsay at Prince’s Golden Globe after party.
“She came with her manager, Jason Weinberg, and a girlfriend, but she was mostly solo for the whole night…Most people were in a good mood — except for her. She seemed lost. She was trying to get James’ attention, and he wouldn’t give her anything. She was smoking a lot, not drinking in front of him, and then she went into a bedroom. From there, she went back to trying to get James’ attention again, and he was ignoring her. She ran out crying, with the girlfriend following her.”
This was at about 3:30am and Lindsay was allegedly found passed out in the hotel hallway at 6:00am.
Ben reports that Lindsay 1st met Franco at a premier party for her movie, A Prairie Home Companion in June. The two visited a karaoke night in LA in October and that month were also seen dancing together at Are in West Hollywood.
However Lindsay, 20 has dated a string of guys in the last few months alone while Franco, 28 is known to be into more monogamous relationships and is apparently, “very happy in his relationship with his girlfriend.
Ben reports that Franco even refused a pricey watch Lindsay tried to give him as gift. She now wear’s it as a 2nd watch on her wrist as a painful reminder of him.

So is Lindsay heading to rehab to sort out her life or is she using it to get out of being sued as a result of her on set behaviour on her latest film? Star Magazine report:
“The movie executives said they had a major issue with getting her insured for the film and threatened to sue her for between for between $3 million and $5 million for the delays her constant absences were causing on the set,” the source tells Star. “Lindsay’s family and other people she works with sat down with her last night and convinced her she had to go into rehab to save herself professionally and personally. She couldn’t afford to have another letter come out about how she was being unprofessional and missing work on the set.”
Lindsay’s mother, Dina has released the following statement about her daughter’s decision to go to rehab“I’m so proud of her. She’s really in a good place right now, spiritually and mentally. She’s in an amazing, phenomenal place. She’s 20 and she’s solid, and she’s doing what she needs to do. I don’t know that many people who are that secure. It’s all about her, and getting back on track. She’s fine — she’s amazingly fine.”
Whatever the reason for Lindsay’s trip to rehab there is no doubt in Hollywood that the starlet needed it. She parties til 6am at the golden globes at Princes’s party and there are widespread reports that onlookers were shocked at Lindsay’s appearsance. Recent pictures have shown her looking haggard and bloated instead of her usual freshfaced look. Also since Lindsay’s decision to go to rehab many more are now doubting her recent appendectomy, which seems realistic. Since the operation she had been seen in many a bikini with no visible scar.
The beautiful, but troubled actress has entered rehab this evening. She released the following statement:
“I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time.”
The starlet’s decision to enter rehab comes after months of criticism and speculation, by the press, regarding her partying. We wish Lindsay success in rehab and hope she can return quickly and make an amazing comeback.

Maybe one explanation for Lindsay Lohan’s wild behaviour is genetics. Page Six are reporting today that mom Dina put on a somewhat dramatic display at a New York restaurant during this week,
“Dina, spotted in a “really short dress and boots,” made some fellow diners at Kobe Club lose their appetites Wednesday night. A guy sitting next to Dina was “all over her,” we’re told. “Dina had a napkin in her lap and hiked up her dress,” our source says. “The guy put his hand under her napkin . . . It went on for like five minutes.” After the guy realized he was being watched, he stopped whatever it was he was doing”.
Dina’s rep issued a complete denial to this story, “That’s a disgusting lie and it’s completely untrue.”
Well would you want to admit to that story?
On other Lindsay news, the New York Daily News are reporting that Lindsay latest hook up is with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz who has formerly dated Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Tractenberg.
Lindsay Lohan probably deserves a place in the partying hall of fame. La Lohan was discharged from hospital after an emergency appendectomy that morning and went clubbing THAT night. First Lindsay dined at Pace restaurant and then headed to a club in West Hollywood, finally going home for some much needed bed rest at 2.30am.
As has become her trademark lately, Lindsay is seen carrying a water bottle that night but what’s really in that water bottle??
Page 6 sources reported last week that they have received eyewitness accounts of Lohan drinking vodka out of those water bottles…
Lindsay Lohan may be a wild child who has a liking for bad boys but at least she has some semblance for taste. US Weekly report that Kevin Federline tried it on with Lohan via text.
“On December 22, less than a month after ex Britney Spears partied with Lindsay Lohan, the aspiring rapper, 28, texted the actress, 20, suggesting, “We should hang out”.
Lindsay didn’t respond perhaps as K-Fed would have wanted, replying
“Why would I hang out with you?” and so Britney’s ex replied maturely calling her a “fire crotch”.
Lindsay’s friends told US, “She was totally grossed out…She thought it was hilarious”.
In other Lindsay news TMZ has confirmed that she has undergone an operation to remove her appendix.
Lindsay’s rep Leslie Sloane said she had been feeling well and went to the doctor yesterday. After performing tests it was decided to remove her appendix as a precaution. Sloane says Lindsay is resting now.

As reported previously Lindsay Lohan has been partying with music producer Scott Storch, who let her drive his million dollar Buggati. Looks like Storch has a soft spot for Lindsay as reportedly he surprised her with a very nice gift for New Years. The New York Post reports that he gave Lindsay $1 million worth of diamond jewellery. A source at the Mansion club in Miami said she was wearing, “the sickest diamond necklace and ear rings…and a three-stone diamond ring”.
Another source is quotes as saying that Storch who has allegedly earned more than $70 million from producing hits “has a total crush on her”.
It looks like he should join the queue. When Lohan deejayed at the Sykbar in Miami two of her conquests, The 70’s Shows’ Wilmer Valderrama and actor Jared Leto were there and apparently “couldn’t keep their eyes off her”.
Lindsay Lohan spent her holidays spreading the Christmas Spirit of Love and Goodwill to all men/strippers. The Post reports that Lindsay spent Tuesday at Scores West, which they refer to as “the famed mammary mecca” with some new friends. Reportedly the Starlet jumped
“onstage to do a wild bump-and-grind, then ushering topless dancers into the bathroom to apologize for recently calling them all “whores””
Lindsay was overheard proclaiming “I love strippers,.
Next, “She got up on the stripper pole and began to dance with the Scores Girls with 400 customers cheering her on, Then, she joined her entourage of 15 in the VIP area, and got lap dances from many of the girls, including a special double-dance from two strippers at once.
Obviously Lindsay has been perfecting her stripper routine over Christmas also as one of the strippers at Scores West told The Post,
“She’ll make a good stripper - she’s a natural.”
