The Daily Mail reports that supermodel Kate Moss rang in the 2007 by marrying her crack head boyfriend Pete Doherty in Phuket, Thailand
“After seeing in the New Year under a £100,000 fire works display alongside other hotel guests including the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, the 32-year-old supermodel and Doherty, 27, retired to bed shortly before 1am, ahead of their big day…The couple exchanged vows before a select few friends and family members in a forty minute ceremony held at their six star hotel villa overlooking the sea. At 1.30pm Thai time - 6.30am UK time - the Babyshambles singer and Miss Moss exchanged vows in the picturesque private gardens of their five-bed roomed £4,500-per-night villa at the Manipuri hotel.
It was reported that Kate wore a white Galliano shift dress with her hair loose while Doherty wore an all-black linen suit with his now trademark pork pie hat. The garden was covered with jasmine and orchids while white and pale pink lotus flowers decorated the pool.
The Buddhist ceremony would not however be legally binding in the UK. The Sun are reporting that the couple have asked friends to keep January 18 free.
However Kate’s publicist is denying that any such ceremony occurred and that there are no further marriage plans.
Its without doubt one of the worlds top fashion and lifestyle magazines published in almost twenty countries worldwide, but they are about to cause a public outcry maybe even a readers backlash by featuring British rocker and serial drug abuser Pete Doherty on its first cover of 2007.
The Babyshambles frontman spent Thursday in a studio in London’s Shepherd’s Bush doing a shoot with top photographer Mario Testino.
Speaking to the media a source close to Vogue said: “Vogue have teamed Pete up with one of the finest fashion photographers in the world for this shoot.
“He is perfect material for the magazine, dating the most famous supermodel in the world and being an iconic pop star. It will be a best of British style shoot and he will only be in clothes by a UK company.”

Pete Doherty has been voted the most “undeserving icon” of the year in Arena mens magazine.
Over 1,000 readers of the popular lads mag voted the singer, 27, as the personality least worthy of celeb status, most probably due to his highly publicised drug problem.
Meanwhile Doherty has been banned from seeing his child by his former partner Lisa Moorish. Moorish who also has a child with Liam Gallagher previously banned Doherty from access because he was “deep” in drugs.
This ban had been lifted earlier this year after Doherty signed himself into the Priory drug clinic but Doherty is believed to have had some class A “gear” on him when searched by police last week.
It is believed that Doherty has signed himself into another drug clinic but this time he has opted for Portugal in an attempt to stay of out the British media limelight.
